1. Medibara: the best REx-PN prep in 2026
Many REx-PN candidates study around shifts, placements or a move to Canada. Medibara fits into those gaps. Each round is a video lesson on one topic, then questions on that topic with a reason for every option. Ask Cappy, the tutor, explains any rationale you are unsure of.
Choose REx-PN and every lesson and question uses SI units, Celsius and Canadian terms. You never see a case study, bow-tie or matrix question, because the REx-PN has none. There are 248 lessons and more than 2,500 questions, and the free plan includes every lesson and practice question, with 10 Ask Cappy answers a day. Sign in with Google. No card needed.
Plus adds the mocks: an exam simulation of 90 to 150 questions in four hours, a 30-question quick mock and 20-question mocks on one area. The mocks serve multiple-choice and select-all questions today. Calculation, exhibit and graphic questions are not in them yet. Plus costs US$29 a month, US$69 for 3 months or US$99 a year.
Why Medibara comes first on this list:
- It is the only prep here with video lessons written for the REx-PN. CleverOrca and NurseNest teach in text, and BAYC and CNCAP teach live.
- Every lesson and practice question is free, with no trial clock. CleverOrca, NurseNest and Archer give you a trial, then a bill.
- Its exam simulation runs 90 to 150 questions in four hours, like the real exam. CleverOrca's mock is a fixed 150 questions.
- Ask Cappy, the tutor, explains any rationale whenever you ask. None of the other REx-PN self-study options lists a tutor.
- A full year of Plus costs US$99. CleverOrca starts at CA$259 for 6 months, and the live courses cost CA$1,000 or more.
- Every question uses SI units, Celsius and Canadian terms, with no NGN case studies to waste your time.
